Beats by Dr Dre, Jimmy Iovine, and Monster have been on the market for over a year.  As the price drops it maybe time to revisit our music in which Beats bring back the Experience of Music as if you were in the recording studio or at the concert.  Do you recall a time where we used to spend thousands on speakers to take you into the music to feel that base line?  With Beats by Dr Dre speakers have become affordable, portable, and quality.  Ok you’re thinking at $299.99 how is that affordable.  Well lets take a look at it another way.  These speakers for your head were designed for portable digital devices… A typical Ipod starts around $199.99 then can hold over $10,000 in music or videos depending on what you call entertainment.  If you purchased a Iphone add on a monthly fee of $69.99 and up.  Ok have you gotten your accessories like the car adaptor, house, car, office charger, case to protect it, wires to connect to home system?  By this time one has invested well over $1000.00.  Course you were happy to hear that headphones come in the box! 

Are you kidding your going to take all that time to personalize your music experience only to now settle for what’s in the box?  I hope we have learned if it comes free in the box then in most case where there is no cost there is no value. There are headphones and then there are speakers.  What’s the difference… the experience your selection will bring you?  When selecting your headphones you need to take as much time if not more than you took when deciding how much memory you should get.  If those of you lucky enough to get an IPOD as a gift… then you’ve got extra money to spend on the Speakers… oops Headphones.  I mean Beats, as they are the closest to having a set of speakers as one can get to the sound quality but with the style and weight of headphones. When you go try out your head phones have your IPOD at the ready so you can test the difference as I spent several hours in BestBuy and Apple stores and found Beats to be the best.  Here is a little shout out to the Apple Guy, you know who you are, for listening and learning with me.

Beats by Dr Dre are stylish and bring quality of sound back to the listener.  You become immersed in the music with the noise cancellation you can hear more music and less noise.  It’s all about the High definition sound.  Seriously deep base response, and active noise cancellation with high being bright and lows being tight you have a feeling of being right there in the recording studio with the artiest.  Yes these speakers for your head were designed with Hip Hop and R&B in mind but as anyone will not admit to there is more than that on your ipod.  As I’ve been testing out my Beats I have quickly seen they are able to handle Eminem, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, Billy Joel, KD Lang, Barbra Streisand, Brad Paisley, Michael Buble, Dido, User, Queen, OutcastU2, Maroon 5, Katy Perry, etc.  As you can see each person IPOD has a varity of music which I’m happy to hear Beats can handle.  My day revisiting my IPOD collection of music has made the day slip away. 

So what’s in the Beats by Dr Dre box.  In the box you will be getting:

1 set of stylish black with red trim beats speakers (over the ear)

2 AAAs batteries, recommend you pick up another set as battery power is about 24hours of play.  No battery no play.  Because of the power of 115 db and 20Hz to 20 KHz there are no rechargeable batteries recommended for this unit at this time.

1 Red monster 1/8″ mini cable 4 feet long with gold connections on the ends. The 1st thing you will notice is the thickness of the cable.  This Advanced Monster Cable is a QuadriPole 4 twisted pair wire constructed to reduce signal loss for balanced sound and clarity. YES cable does make a difference its carries the music from point A to point B.

1 Black monster 1/8″ mini cable called iSoniTalk for use with the Iphone (4foot) and gold connections.  You may still use this black cable to fit other cell phones that have mp3 players with adaptors.  But think about it this headphone was designed first with IPODs in mind.  This cable is also Advanced Monster Cable QuadriPole 4 twisted pair wire.

Along with these cables you get a Monster cleaning cloth (red of course), warranty, plus additional GOLD end connectors such as the airport adaptor and your 1/4 stereo adaptor along with a black zipper friendly case for easy storage.
